En una entrevista de 2024 en Hoy, cubierta por Univision, Vale dijo que el proceso había sido largo y que lo había empezado aproximadamente un año antes. Contó que trabajó con una endocrinóloga y que, después de probar otras dietas, encontró una alimentación hecha para ella. Estos son detalles de su propio relato, no una evaluación médica independiente.
Vale rechazó la idea de una solución rápida o mágica y describió el cambio como un aprendizaje sobre cómo comer. En la transcripción de la entrevista reproducida por Univision, dijo: “No hice ni macumba, ni me operé ni cosas raras”. Univision advierte que su transcripción fue generada con inteligencia artificial y puede contener errores; si la cita exacta importa, debe prevalecer el audio incrustado.
Qué dijo sobre cirugía, pastillas y sus motivos
Vale negó haberse sometido a una operación y haber tomado pastillas para perder peso. Dijo que quería sentirse más saludable y mejor, y contó que tenía más energía para jugar con sus hijos. Son motivos y beneficios que ella describió, no resultados clínicos verificados.

¿Perdió 30 libras o 30 kilos?
Los medios no coinciden en la cifra. Telemundo, en una cobertura de People en Español de 2016, informó que había perdido “más de 30 libras” en un año. En cambio, TV Azteca publicó en 2024 un titular que decía “30 kilos” en un año. Son cifras atribuidas a reportes distintos, publicados en años diferentes; no deben sumarse, convertirse ni presentarse como mediciones de un mismo periodo.
No hay en esos reportes una medición actual confirmada por Vale mediante un registro médico o una fuente estadística independiente. Por eso, el titular sobre 30 libras no basta para establecer cuánto había perdido en total ni cuál es su peso actual.
