Andrew Ridgeley’s net worth is commonly estimated at US$40 million, but that figure is not verified. The estimate appears on two celebrity-finance pages; neither provides a Ridgeley-specific calculation or primary financial records. Public reporting does support that he continues to receive income from Wham! royalties, but royalties alone do not establish a person’s total wealth.
How much is Andrew Ridgeley worth?
ComingSoon reported an estimated net worth of US$40 million on March 14, 2025. Celebrity Net Worth also displays US$40 million, but does not provide a clear original publication date or a Ridgeley-specific calculation. The figure should therefore be treated as a widely repeated estimate, not a confirmed balance sheet.
ComingSoon’s March 14, 2025 estimate and Celebrity Net Worth’s listing agree on the number, but agreement between estimate pages is not independent verification. Neither page presents an asset inventory, liabilities, or financial documentation that would let readers check the total.
What is known about Ridgeley’s income?
There is credible reporting that music royalties remain part of Ridgeley’s income. In a December 14, 2024 interview, The Guardian reported that he continues to live off royalties from “Wham! Rap”, “Club Tropicana” and “Careless Whisper”. The article also notes that he agreed to drop co-writing credits after those songs.

In an interview with Deutschlandfunk, Ridgeley discussed how Wham! income meant he did not need another job after the group’s active period. He also agreed that later airplay and sales of records and CDs continued to provide income. The interview is in German, so its reported comments should not be presented as verbatim English quotations. It does not quantify the royalties or establish his total wealth. Deutschlandfunk’s interview does not have a publication date established here.
Why royalties do not prove a net-worth figure
Royalty income is only one part of a financial picture. Net worth depends on assets as well as debts and other liabilities, and the public reporting cited here does not disclose those amounts. The available evidence supports saying that Ridgeley has continuing music income; it does not support calculating his current net worth independently.

Andrew Ridgeley’s memoir
