Coverage described the color differently—ELLE called it plum, while Who What Wear’s gallery caption called it red—so “Jessica Rabbit” is best understood as a comparison to the look, not a confirmed homage by Larter.
What Ali Larter wore to the 2026 Actor Awards
Larter attended the ceremony at the Shrine Auditorium and Expo Hall in Los Angeles. ELLE described her Zuhair Murad gown as plum, corseted, draped, and finished with a sweetheart neckline. Who What Wear also identified Zuhair Murad as the designer.
The color descriptions are not consistent across the coverage: ELLE’s text says plum, while Who What Wear’s gallery caption calls the gown red. The available descriptions establish a dramatic, saturated look, but do not settle on one shared color label.
How the look connected to the red-carpet theme
ELLE reported that the evening’s first-ever red-carpet theme was “Reimagining Hollywood Glamour From the ‘20s and ‘30s,” and said Larter’s bombshell styling honored it. That framing supports an old-Hollywood reading of the gown. The Jessica Rabbit comparison is an editorial way to describe its glamorous, sultry impression; the reviewed coverage does not say Larter intended to reference the character.

Who What Wear credited Jeanann Williams as Larter’s stylist. Its beauty coverage described a ruby or garnet lip and credited makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan with emphasizing the eyes with fluttery lashes while keeping the rest of the makeup relatively clean.
Lipstick reported in the beauty coverage
Who What Wear listed Armani Beauty Lip Power Lipstick in shade 404 among the products used. This is a reported product detail, not evidence of a personal endorsement by Larter. Check the current product listing and shade availability before relying on the match.

What is—and is not—confirmed about the gown
The reviewed coverage identifies Zuhair Murad as the designer, but does not give a gown model or collection name, establish whether it was custom, or confirm that this specific dress is available to buy. It also does not include a statement from Larter, Williams, or Murad explaining the look or its inspiration.
