What the report said had leaked
Chris Smith’s March 5, 2019 BGR report described images and posts circulating on Reddit and Instagram that allegedly showed two LEGO sets associated with Avengers: Endgame. The article did not independently authenticate the images, so its descriptions should be understood as claims reported at the time.
Iron Man Half of Armor
The report named a set called Iron Man Half of Armor, described as including Iron Man armor minifigures and Dum-E. Smith drew attention to the figures’ costumes and accessories as possible clues. Those observations were interpretations of reported toy details, not confirmation of a scene or storyline.
Avengers Compound Battle
The second reported set, Avengers Compound Battle, was described as showing Avengers facing Thanos and his forces. Smith suggested the imagery might hint at a confrontation, but the set’s reported name and contents alone could not establish what happens in the film.

Were these actual ‘Avengers: Endgame’ spoilers?
Not in the sense of verified plot information. The headline’s “spoilers” were possibilities inferred from alleged toy-set imagery. The BGR article itself warned that toy leaks may not indicate the direction of the movie. The available report does not establish that every pictured detail was accurate or that either set mapped directly to events on screen.
That distinction matters: a reported minifigure, accessory, or battle scene can inspire a theory, but it is not equivalent to a confirmed plot disclosure. The story is best read as a 2019 account of leak-based speculation, not as a reliable summary of the film’s events.
