Anitta afirmou ter perdido 100 mil seguidores depois de anunciar que o clipe de “Aceita” mostraria sua religião. Após o lançamento, a Associated Press atribuiu à cantora outro relato: 200 mil seguidores a menos, de um total de 65 milhões. As cifras foram divulgadas em momentos diferentes e não são uma contagem verificada de forma independente.
Quantos seguidores Anitta disse ter perdido?
Em 13 de maio de 2024, ao divulgar imagens de sua rotina no candomblé e anunciar que o clipe de “Aceita” sairia naquela semana, Anitta escreveu em um Story reproduzido pelo gshow: “Perdi 100 mil seguidores depois de anunciar o clipe que vou mostrar minha religião. Laroyê Exu tirando dos meus caminhos tudo que não me serve mais”. No mesmo Story, acrescentou: “Nessa minha nova fase, escolhi qualidade e não quantidade. Axé”.
Em reportagem publicada em 15 de maio, depois do lançamento do vídeo, a Associated Press informou que Anitta disse ter perdido 200 mil de seus 65 milhões de seguidores. Os dois números correspondem a relatos atribuídos à cantora em momentos distintos — antes e depois da estreia — e não a uma auditoria que confirme a variação líquida de seguidores. As fontes disponíveis também não medem quantas pessoas deixaram de segui-la especificamente por intolerância religiosa.

Em coletiva de imprensa no fim de abril, segundo o gshow, Anitta explicou que a canção faz referência a Exu e homenageia sua fé. Ela também relacionou a faixa à cultura funk e à cultura afro e disse querer abordar o preconceito religioso.

Em declaração reproduzida pela AP após a estreia, Anitta defendeu a tradição: “Its teachings and its people deserve respect like any other religion.” Em tradução editorial: “Seus ensinamentos e seu povo merecem respeito como qualquer outra religião.”
O vídeo mostra apenas o candomblé?
Não. A Associated Press descreveu referências ao candomblé e também imagens ligadas ao catolicismo, a um culto evangélico e a uma pessoa judia usando tefilin. Por isso, é mais preciso tratar o clipe como uma obra que inclui a fé de Anitta e referências a diferentes tradições religiosas, em vez de reduzi-lo a uma representação de uma só religião.

Como foram interpretadas as reações?
A AP relatou que, após a divulgação do vídeo, houve críticas e desinformação, mas também manifestações de apoio. Mãe Nilce de Iansã, coordenadora da Rede Nacional de Religiões Afro-Brasileiras e Saúde, avaliou à agência que Anitta sofreu racismo religioso e associou a perda de seguidores à declaração pública da cantora de que é do candomblé. Essa é a avaliação da entrevistada; os números divulgados não identificam, por si só, a motivação de cada pessoa que deixou de seguir a artista.
