Angus Cloud’s former assistant reportedly claimed $115,000 in unpaid compensation from the actor’s estate. That was only part of the demand: a separate $195,000 commission claim brought the reported total to $310,000. The figures are allegations, not established estate debts.
Why the claim was reported as both $115,000 and $310,000
The Blast reported in February 2024 that the former assistant sought $115,000 for work between September 2021 and July 2023. It also reported a separate demand for $195,000 in commissions, which the claimant valued at 10% of compensation from brand deals. Adding the two reported amounts produces the $310,000 total. The Blast’s February 2024 account described a creditor claim; it did not establish that the estate owed the money.

Who made the claim and what work did he describe?
Later coverage identified the claimant as Jonathan Kim. In October 2024, The Blast, via Yahoo Entertainment, reported that his civil complaint alleged an oral agreement to pay him $5,000 per month. The reported duties included administrative work, scheduling, travel arrangements, errands and personal support. Those details describe Kim’s allegations, not findings by a court. Yahoo Entertainment’s report summarized the complaint.
What did Angus Cloud’s estate say?
Lisa Cloud’s legal team disputed that an employment contract existed and sought dismissal, according to 2024 reporting. TheJasmineBRAND quoted the lawyers’ motion accusing Kim of using the court process to seek a settlement; that is advocacy by one side, not a judicial finding. TheJasmineBRAND’s account reports the estate representative’s position and quotes the motion.

In May 2025, PEOPLE reported that Kim’s initial probate claim was rejected in February 2024 and that his later civil suit was also rejected during 2024. The report also relayed Lisa Cloud’s estimate that the estate was worth $50,000. That figure was her reported estimate, not an independently verified valuation. The reported rejections are procedural developments, but the available coverage does not include the court orders needed to determine their precise legal effect. The latest status evidence here is from May 2025; a reliable docket or primary court order establishing the matter’s disposition as of October 2026 is not available.
