What Disney said about the series
At the premiere, Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden called the show “original” and “sexy” and said it was “aspirational,” according to PerthNow. That is a promotional comment from a Disney executive, not an independent critical assessment. PerthNow’s event report attributes the remark to Walden.

Disney France said the series ranked as Hulu’s No. 1 series in the United States and No. 1 on Disney+’s top 10 in France during its first three days after launch. The same company announcement reported more than 10 billion social impressions between 8 October and 20 November 2025. Those rankings are limited to the stated three-day period, and the impressions figure is a company-reported social-media metric, not an independent audience count. Disney France’s announcement reports both figures.
