All-New Venom launched in December 2024 as an ongoing Marvel series following Venom War. Its opening mystery asked who had become the symbiote’s new host, while Dylan Brock tried to identify the person from a four-name suspect list. That was the series’ original hook—not a question still awaiting an answer: the later collected-edition description confirms the story includes the host reveal.
What was the All-New Venom mystery?
After Venom War, the Venom symbiote moved to a new host. Marvel’s October 2024 announcement framed the identity as a mystery, with Dylan Brock investigating four people on his suspect list. The announcement report does not identify those four names, so they are not listed here.

The question “Who is Venom’s new host?” describes the launch premise. The later collection solicitation indicates the series goes on to reveal the identity, so readers approaching the complete story should expect the mystery to be resolved rather than left open.
Who made the series?
Al Ewing wrote All-New Venom, and Carlos Gómez illustrated it. Adam Kubert is credited with the cover for the collected edition. These credits appear in the collection catalog and solicitation.

What does the story cover beyond the identity reveal?
The collected-edition description broadens the premise beyond Dylan’s investigation. A.I.M. pursues Venom, and the story introduces the Symbiote Squad. Dylan’s search for his former other puts him on a collision course with Madame Masque. It also asks why the symbiote chose its new host and why the two cannot separate. These are elements described in publisher and catalog solicitation copy, rather than an independent assessment of the story.
