A glimpse of Esmeralda’s self-expression
Good Morning America has recounted Mendes’s earlier comments about enjoying her then-young daughter’s self-expression through fashion. It is a small personal anecdote, rather than evidence of a broader public profile for Esmeralda.
Gosling’s children and his films
Marie Claire UK has reported Gosling saying that his children watched cuts of one of his films and gave feedback. The anecdote offers a glimpse of their involvement in a family moment, but does not establish that they have public roles in his work.

Why did Eva Mendes write a children’s book connected to her daughters?
Mendes’s book Desi, Mami, and the Never-Ending Worries grew from conversations with her older daughter about anxiety, according to WHO. EL PAÍS described it as a story published in English and Spanish, illustrated by Abbey Bryant, and reported the Spanish title as Desi, mami y las infinitas preocupaciones. The book draws on an idea from a conversation with her older daughter; it is a work of children’s fiction, not a biography of Esmeralda or Amada.
Discussing the book, Mendes told EL PAÍS, “Me siento muy emocionada con esto.” That is her Spanish wording; an English rendering should be treated as a translation, not as an exact English quote. Readers interested in the family connection can look for the book’s English or Spanish edition, with current formats and availability depending on the seller.
