In a June 2024 interview, Chris Hemsworth named a Ford F-150 and a Toyota Land Cruiser among his vehicles, and singled out a Dodge Ram Rebel he was turning into a self-sufficient camping rig. He also recalled an old Alfa Romeo as his first car. These are interview-era statements, not a complete or independently verified inventory of his current collection.
Vehicles Hemsworth named in 2024
In an interview with Emanuele Bigi for La Gazzetta dello Sport, published June 2, 2024, Hemsworth discussed the Ford F-150, Toyota Land Cruiser and Dodge Ram Rebel in the context of beach life, outings and camping. He described attaching motorcycles to a trailer for trips into the countryside.
| Vehicle | What Hemsworth said about it | How to read the claim |
|---|---|---|
| Ford F-150 | He said he had one and had just begun driving its electric version. | His interview-era description; it does not establish the exact model year, trim or present ownership status. |
| Toyota Land Cruiser | He named it as another vehicle used for outings and camping. | His interview-era description; the source does not identify its model year or configuration. |
| Dodge Ram Rebel | He said he was gradually building it into a self-sufficient camping vehicle. | An ongoing project as described in the interview, not a verified factory specification or finished build sheet. |
Inside the Ram Rebel camping build
Hemsworth said the Ram Rebel project included a rooftop tent, water storage with a 60-liter capacity, a hose and shower fittings, an induction cooker, a refrigerator, drawers and rooftop solar panels to power the vehicle’s electronics. The 60-liter figure and equipment list are his description of that particular build, not independently measured specifications.
He said he was especially pleased with the truck, telling Bigi, “Sono soddisfatto delle mie auto, ma specialmente del mio Dodge Ram Rebel”—translated as, “I’m satisfied with my cars, but especially my Dodge Ram Rebel.”
His first car—and the vehicles that belong in a separate category
Hemsworth recalled his first car as an old Alfa Romeo with a rusted trunk. He said exhaust fumes entered the cabin on long trips. He did not identify the model, and the anecdote is his recollection—not evidence about every car of that make or the condition of a specific model.
His early motorbikes are another part of the story, but should not be mixed up with the vehicles he described in 2024. He recalled a Yamaha DT 175 among his first motorcycles. A May 26, 2024 La Gazzetta dello Sport page summarizes his motorcycle garage as including Harley-Davidson, Aprilia, Ducati and electric Stark bikes, and says he rides on a motocross track at his farm. These reports underscore his interest in motorcycles; they do not supply a complete, dated list of current holdings.
Why a Camaro or a film car is not proof of ownership
A 2013 Esquire profile describes a Camaro brought for Hemsworth to drive as an airport rental, so it should not be counted as his car. The same profile quotes him saying he had grown up around motorbikes and had not really made the jump to cars at that point. That earlier remark predates his 2024 comments about vehicles.
Likewise, Hemsworth’s role as James Hunt in Rush, or an appearance beside a car connected to a film, does not establish that he owns it. The sources cited here do not confirm ownership of any movie-set vehicle.

What is—and is not—known about the collection
The interviews provide a useful snapshot of vehicles Hemsworth discussed, but they do not establish an exhaustive current inventory, a total car count or a collection valuation. The most accurate description is therefore a source-attributed one: in 2024 he spoke about a Ford F-150, a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Dodge Ram Rebel camping project, while separately recalling his first car and discussing motorcycles.
