The 1950s mid-century house, attributed to architect Allen Siple, was described as sitting on a 1.4-acre lot. The transaction and property details come from secondary reporting, not a verified deed or county record.
What does Alexandra Daddario’s Brentwood home look like?
El Diario NY’s November 4, 2022 report describes a hillside home with Japanese-style red doors, floor-to-ceiling windows, wood ceilings and an original brick-and-stone fireplace. The kitchen was reported to have burnt-yellow cabinets and granite counters. Mature trees and green space contribute to the property’s wooded setting.
The article also lists a swimming pool, terrace and garage with room for three vehicles. These are reported features, not details confirmed by a firsthand inspection.
What was reported about the home and purchase?
| Detail | What the report says |
|---|---|
| Reported purchase price | $7.6 million, according to El Diario NY’s November 4, 2022 coverage. |
| Architecture and era | A 1950s mid-century home designed by Allen Siple, as described by El Diario NY. |
| Lot | 1.4 acres, according to El Diario NY. |
| Bedrooms and bathrooms | Three bedrooms and four bathrooms, according to El Diario NY. |
| House area | Unsettled: the report’s subheading says 4,971 square feet, while its body says 4,917 square feet. |
The same report gives an initial asking price of $8.7 million, while another result gives $8.6 million. Because those figures conflict, the original asking price is not established. The reported $7.6 million purchase price is consistent in contemporaneous coverage.

Which other Daddario property stories are separate?
Several later or nearby property stories concern different transactions and should not be treated as updates to the Brentwood purchase:
- Yahoo Entertainment’s August 12, 2024 article concerns a Mandeville Canyon property purchased for $2.8 million and later listed for just under $3 million.
- Mansion Global reported in January 2023 that Daddario and Form sold a Hancock Park home for $7.675 million.
- A January 2026 Homes & Gardens article describes a retro Brentwood home, but its search-result wording does not establish that it is the house covered in the 2022 purchase report.
Accordingly, the $7.6 million figure and the architectural details here refer to the home described by El Diario NY in 2022—not to the separate Mandeville Canyon or Hancock Park properties.
