Realtor.com reported the accepted offer on October 7, 2025, about three months after the property was listed.
How much did the Montecito home sell for?
Realtor.com reported on October 7, 2025, that Levine and Prinsloo had accepted an offer of $60 million. Architectural Digest reported that the estate was listed for $65 million on July 7, 2025. The reported offer was therefore $5 million below the asking price. The reports describe an accepted offer; they do not independently establish a completed transfer of ownership.
Realtor.com also reported that the couple bought the property for $52 million in an off-market deal in 2022. The $8 million difference between that reported purchase price and the reported offer is not a verified net profit: the figures do not account for costs such as renovations, taxes, or commissions.
What was the estate like?
Architectural Digest described the property as an 11,500-square-foot Georgian-style home on 3.41 acres, with nine bedrooms, a guesthouse, pool, tennis court, gym, theater, gardens, and mountain and ocean views. Realtor.com also reported nine bedrooms and described additional features including two guesthouses, a catering kitchen, a vegetable garden, a chicken coop, and a koi pond.

The outlets reported different bathroom counts: Architectural Digest said 14, while Realtor.com said 10.5. Because the accounts conflict, there is no single count to state without attribution.
Why are Levine and Prinsloo moving?
Architectural Digest reported that the couple wanted to be closer to their children’s school. The publication attributed the description of their new home as “too special to resist” to an unnamed family representative.

In later reporting published December 11, 2025, Realtor.com identified the new Spanish-style home as a property Oprah Winfrey sold to the couple for $17.27 million. It also reported a separate nearby purchase for $12.5 million. Those are separate transactions from the reported $60 million offer on the former estate.

The $65 million figure was the advertised asking price; the $60 million figure was the reported accepted offer. The $52 million figure was the reported 2022 purchase price. These are figures tied to this property and its reported transactions, not evidence of a broader Montecito real-estate trend. The coverage cited here reports the transactions but does not independently verify them through deed records.
