The January 14, 2026, show in Phoenix also saw Darby Allin submit PAC, Thekla pin women’s champion Kris Statlander, and Mark Davis and Jake Doyle earn a future tag-team title match with FTR. This is a spoiler-inclusive ranking based on match structure and pacing, finish, stakes, and standout moments—not an official AEW scorecard.
AEW described this Dynamite as the first half of Maximum Carnage, with the related Collision show scheduled for January 17. The January 14 episode aired live on TBS and HBO Max, according to AEW’s official recap, published January 15, 2026. Its match list included six bouts, among them a standby match and a four-way tag match. AEW’s recap is the source for the results and action described below; the order and judgments are editorial.
AEW Dynamite: Maximum Carnage match results, ranked
- Brody King defeated Jonathan Cruz in a standby match.
- Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue) defeated Kris Statlander and The Babes of Wrath (Willow Nightingale and Harley Cameron).
- “Hangman” Adam Page defeated Bryan Keith.
- Mark Davis and Jake Doyle defeated JetSpeed (Mike Bailey and Kevin Knight), the Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson), and GOA (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) in a four-way tag match.
- Darby Allin defeated PAC.
- AEW World Championship: MJF (c) defeated Bandido.
Every match ranked
6. Brody King vs. Jonathan Cruz
Winner: Brody King. AEW called this a standby match, and Cruz was still not dressed to compete when it was arranged. King finished quickly with the Gonzo Bomb.
This was a brief card-filling bout, not a match given the same scope as the title main event or the multi-team contest. Its place at the bottom reflects that limited purpose and the little room it had for a developed structure or standout sequence—not a claim about a match duration, which AEW did not publish.

5. Triangle of Madness vs. Kris Statlander and The Babes of Wrath
Winners: Thekla, Julia Hart, and Skye Blue. The finish hinged on a clear choice: Statlander took a spear intended for Willow Nightingale, and Thekla followed with a stomp to pin the AEW Women’s World Champion.
That decisive sequence gave the trios match a meaningful consequence, but it also made the finish more compelling than the broader match record. Thekla’s pin of Statlander is the result to remember, with Willow’s near-miss positioning the turn in the closing stretch.

4. “Hangman” Adam Page vs. Bryan Keith
Winner: Adam Page. Bryan Keith had Big Bill at ringside, and interference shaped the closing sequence. Swerve Strickland stopped Bill with a chain, opening the way for Page to hit the Buckshot Lariat and score the pin.
The finish connected the ringside conflict to Page’s win rather than treating it as background noise. Swerve’s intervention also advanced the episode’s wider pursuit of MJF involving Page, Swerve, and Kenny Omega, though Page’s victory here came against Keith.

3. Mark Davis and Jake Doyle vs. JetSpeed vs. the Young Bucks vs. GOA
Winners: Mark Davis and Jake Doyle. The four-way tag match put four teams into a fast-changing field of multi-team exchanges. AEW’s recap highlighted Davis and Doyle powerbombing four opponents at once, GOA’s dive to the floor, and Ricochet’s interference. Davis ended the match by spiking Kevin Knight with a piledriver.
The broadest team field on the card supplied the most variety in opponent combinations, and the result carries a concrete payoff: Davis and Doyle earned a future AEW World Tag Team Championship match with FTR. The piledriver made the finish legible amid the multi-team chaos, while the title opportunity gave the win more lasting weight than a standalone upset.

2. Darby Allin vs. PAC
Winner: Darby Allin by submission. The fight began before the bell outside the ring, then escalated through high-risk spots on the floor and stairs. Allin used a Coffin Drop on PAC’s ankle before applying the Scorpion Death Lock, forcing PAC to tap out.
The injury-targeting sequence gave the violence a through-line, and the submission delivered a definitive ending rather than leaving the result to a sudden pin. AEW framed the victory as Allin having beaten all the Death Riders, advancing his conflict with the group.

1. AEW World Championship: MJF (c) vs. Bandido
Winner: MJF, retaining the championship. Bandido hit the 21 Plex but could not maintain the bridge for a pin. MJF had spent the match targeting Bandido’s injured arm; he then trapped him in the LeBell Lock to retain. After the match, MJF attacked Bandido with the title before Brody King made the save.
The championship stakes and the match’s central physical thread worked together: Bandido had a major near-fall, but his injured arm compromised the follow-through, and MJF converted that vulnerability into the submission finish. The post-match attack and King’s save extended the story beyond the bell. The main event earns the top spot for combining the episode’s highest stakes with a finish tied directly to the action that came before it.
