Reported link: Nahko Bear
ELLE reports that Woodley was linked to Nahko Bear, frontman of Nahko and Medicine for the People, from 2014 to 2016. Its account points to vacation photographs and comments Woodley made in press interviews, but the material cited does not establish that she directly confirmed a romantic relationship. Ben Volavola: a confirmed relationship that ended by 2020

In a 2020 interview, quoted by ELLE from Bustle’s cover story, Woodley reflected that the relationship was serious: “I was in a relationship with someone, and we were very much on the road to marriage and children.” She added, “I realized I was still at an age where I wasn’t able to fully commit. I couldn’t be available to him in the way that I wanted to be. I didn’t fully love myself.” Those are her own words about her experience; they do not establish a fuller account of either person’s motives.
Aaron Rodgers: a confirmed engagement, not a marriage
Woodley and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers were publicly linked in 2020. In a 2021 NFL Honors speech, Rodgers said he was engaged without naming his fiancée; Woodley later confirmed that they were engaged. Woodley later described the impact of public scrutiny. In remarks quoted by ELLE from Net-a-Porter, she said, “It honestly never really hit me that millions of people around the world were actually watching these things and paid attention to them.” She said dating someone very famous made the scrutiny and public desire to know about their lives feel violating.
In a 2024 account to Outside, quoted by ELLE, Woodley described an “awful, traumatic thing” happening in early 2022 and said she felt she had lost her sense of self, happiness, and joy. Speaking of the relationship, she said, “I haven’t shared much about my relationship with Aaron because it always makes me cry. It was not right. But it was beautiful.” These comments convey her perspective; they should not be treated as a diagnosis or as a complete explanation of the breakup.

The outlet attributes the account of a September 2025 split to People and unnamed sources. Neither the reported relationship nor its reported end should be recast as a direct statement by Woodley.
