The later outcome is also clear: on March 10, 2026, the couple finalized their divorce settlement and both waived alimony.
Why Michael was fighting for spousal support
Angela filed to annul the marriage in June 2024, alleging that Michael had fraudulently induced her to marry him for immigration purposes. Those were Angela’s allegations, not a court finding. In his August 21, 2024 response, Michael denied fraud, sought a divorce, and alleged cruel treatment and abuse.
Michael also asked for temporary and permanent spousal support and an equitable division of marital assets. His petition argued that “there is a substantial disparity in income between the parties” and that he could not meet his reasonable monthly financial needs without continued support from Angela. These statements describe his claims and requested relief, not findings that the court established. Showbiz Cheat Sheet reported on his response on August 22, 2024.
Was the red Mercedes Michael’s car?
No. After a photo of Michael beside a red Mercedes prompted comments, he reportedly clarified on Facebook: “Just to clear the air, I did not buy any red Benz. I only posed near the car. It’s for a friend, not mine!” The available account therefore supports saying he posed beside the car—not that he owned or bought it. Showbiz Cheat Sheet reported his clarification on August 28, 2024.

What happened in the divorce settlement?
On March 10, 2026, Michael and Angela finalized a settlement. They both waived alimony, each kept the vehicles titled in their own name, and each accepted responsibility for their own debts. That reported outcome means Michael’s 2024 request for spousal support did not result in alimony under the settlement. TMZ reported the settlement terms; Us Weekly reported that the divorce was finalized.
