Reality Check was a short-form weekly recap of reality-TV moments that launched on 7plus on 16 May 2025. Hosted by comedians and content creators Starr McGowan and Adrian Konarski, it was announced as a 15-week series. Its launch was a dated 2025 event; current 7plus availability has not been confirmed.
What was Reality Check?
Reality Check was a digital-first roundup of moments from reality television, presented with humour and a quick, social-media-informed pace. Launch coverage described it as aimed at Gen Z, but that was positioning in the announcement, not a measured audience finding. Mediaweek’s preview and PerthNow’s launch-day report both framed it as a short-form reality recap.

When and where did it launch?
Seven announced that the series would premiere exclusively on 7plus on Friday 16 May 2025 at 6:00 pm AEST, with new episodes scheduled for Fridays. Those details describe the original launch schedule, not a current release timetable. TV Tonight’s 15 May 2025 listing also reported the launch timing.
Who hosted it, and what shows did it cover?
Starr McGowan and Adrian Konarski hosted the series; launch coverage identified them as comedians and content creators. The announced subject matter included reality shows such as Farmer Wants a Wife and MasterChef Australia. PerthNow reported that the first episode also discussed Stan’s Love Triangle and Netflix’s Million Dollar Secret. These are examples from launch coverage, not a complete episode guide.
How long was the announced run?
Seven National Digital Sales Director Jordan King described the series as a 15-week format in a statement reported by PerthNow. A Seven Network launch post likewise promoted the 15-week series. Seven’s launch post and the third-party TVmaze episode listing, which records an episode 15 dated 22 August 2025, are consistent with that announced run. The listing is not evidence that the series remains available on 7plus.
Who made it, and what was Kellogg’s role?
PerthNow reported that Seven’s in-house creative team, Red Engine, created Reality Check with Kellogg’s; Seven’s launch post also described a Red Engine/Kellogg’s partnership. King called it a “market-first partnership” in Seven’s promotional announcement. That phrase is the network sales executive’s claim, not an independently verified industry finding.
