Yes. One Piece missed two consecutive issues of Weekly Shonen Jump in November 2024, with the magazine’s editorial notice attributing the break to Eiichiro Oda’s health. VIZ’s official English chapter listing dates Chapter 1132 to December 8, 2024. The notice gave no diagnosis or further medical details.
Why was One Piece on break?
A notice reproduced by Crunchyroll News on November 15, 2024 said the series would be absent from Weekly Shonen Jump issues 51 and 52 because of the author’s health. The notice referred to Oda’s health generally; it did not identify a condition, so more specific claims are not supported.

The notice also explained why the series could still appear in issue 51’s table of contents and reader questionnaire: the printing schedule left no time to correct those materials after the break was arranged.
When did Chapter 1132 come out?
VIZ’s official English chapter listing dates Chapter 1131 to December 1, 2024, and Chapter 1132 to December 8, 2024. These are the dates shown for the English listing; they should be distinguished from the announcement that the manga would be absent from two Japanese magazine issues.

Was the release date mistakenly shown as earlier?
ComingSoon reported that a MANGA Plus listing briefly led readers to believe Chapter 1132 had moved from November 17 to December 1. That account is secondary, and no archived official record of the listing correction is established here. The confirmed date in VIZ’s chapter listing is December 8, 2024.
MANGA Plus’s official One Piece listing identifies Eiichiro Oda and displays a “Simulrelease!” schedule label, but that alone does not verify the reported temporary date display.
