Spoiler-light: Chapter 1160 is not an upcoming preview. VIZ lists its English release date as September 14, 2025, and Shueisha titles it “The God Valley Incident.” The chapter opens the flashback’s God Valley sequence, bringing the Rocks Pirates and Roger’s crew into the same unfolding event; the available official publisher summaries do not establish that a direct Roger-versus-Rocks fight begins in this chapter.
What Chapter 1160 covers
Chapter 1160 belongs to the God Valley Incident portion of the story. Shueisha’s description of Volume 114 frames the incident around the Rocks Pirates, a young Garp, and Roger, and says the volume reveals the event’s full picture. That is a volume-level description, not a detailed chapter-by-chapter synopsis, so it should not be treated as confirmation that every part of the incident—or a specific duel—happens in Chapter 1160.

The chapter’s Japanese title is “ゴッドバレー事件,” translated as “The God Valley Incident.” Shueisha’s contents listing places it at page 83 of Volume 114.
Does Roger fight Rocks D. Xebec in this chapter?
The supplied title’s “Roger Vs Rocks D. Xebec Begins” wording overstates what the official summaries verify. The evidence supports a more cautious description: Chapter 1160 starts the God Valley Incident sequence, in which the Rocks and Roger crews are part of the same major event. The publisher’s Volume 114 synopsis names both Rocks and Roger, but does not say that they begin a direct fight in this chapter. Readers looking for a chapter-specific fight breakdown should consult the chapter itself rather than infer one from the volume blurb.

Where Chapter 1160 fits in the collected edition
Chapter 1160 is included in One Piece Volume 114, which collects chapters 1156–1166. Shueisha lists the Japanese print edition as released March 4, 2026, with 224 pages, ISBN 978-4-08-885019-1, and a tax-included price of ¥572. Those are Japan-specific catalog details, not a current price or availability guarantee elsewhere.
The official Volume 114 release announcement likewise describes the collected volume as revealing the God Valley Incident and mentions the Rocks Pirates, young Garp, and Roger. It is useful context for the arc, but remains a volume synopsis rather than an individual Chapter 1160 recap.

How to read the chapter
VIZ lists Chapter 1160 in its official chapter reader and dates its English release to September 14, 2025. The page identifies it as a free preview; actual reading access can vary by territory or subscription status. VIZ’s One Piece chapter listing includes chapters released after 1160, confirming that this is now an archived chapter rather than a forthcoming preview.
For a physical collected edition, Shueisha’s listing is specifically for the Japanese print volume. The VIZ page is a digital chapter listing; the sources cited here do not establish details for an English print edition of Volume 114.
