Progressive hints for Connections #516

  1. Think of a playful or daring act.

  2. Look for different varieties of a preserved food made from cucumbers.

  3. These words can describe something slightly inappropriate or provocative.

  4. Each word completes an expression when preceded by a word meaning slice or sever.

The New York Times Help Center notes that each Connections puzzle has one solution and uses words that can fit multiple categories. When possible matches overlap, look for a four-word group that shares one clean category.
