Wood addressed the comments on television
On 22 March 2025, the verified Jonathan Ross Show channel published a clip in which Wood reacted to comments about her teeth and also discussed a snake scene from The White Lotus. The clip shows that the subject had become part of her public conversations, alongside discussion of her performance and the show.
An SNL parody drew sharper criticism
On 14 April 2025, Vogue discussed the Saturday Night Live parody as a darker turn in the discourse. The Los Angeles Times reported that Wood called the sketch “mean and unfunny.” That phrase is the newspaper’s report of her response, rather than a transcript verified here.
