Rather than treating “lukewarm” as a settled verdict, consider the parts of the show that are most likely to determine whether the return meets your expectations:
- Tone and structure: Does the sequel preserve the irreverent comedy and episodic approach you want from the franchise?
- Animation and visual style: Do the stylized visuals appeal to you? TechRadar singled them out for praise, but that remains a critic’s assessment.
- Comedy: The series’ raunchy humor is central to its identity. Whether it lands is subjective, and no representative audience evidence settles the question.
- English dub: TechRadar praised the English voice performances. If you prefer another language option, check the specific service’s listing.
