The current official title is A Minecraft Movie Squared. That is the title used on Minecraft’s announcement page; “Minecraft Movie 2” is a convenient way to refer to the sequel, not its announced title.
How firmly is the release date established?
The official Minecraft announcement is the clearest source for both the title and exact day. Warner Bros. The Associated Press also reported the original studio announcement of the July 23, 2027 date: AP’s report on the sequel announcement.
