Bec Judd shared a family update in April 2024: her children Darcy and Billie were making their football debut that day, according to a report by PerthNow. The report described the children in football gear and reproduced Judd’s Instagram Story caption: “2 lil Judds make their footy debut today. Go well kiddies.”
What Bec Judd said about the debut
PerthNow reported on 14 April 2024 that Judd posted a photo of Darcy and Billie ahead of their footy debut. The caption quoted in the report reads: “2 lil Judds make their footy debut today. Go well kiddies.” The wording is attributed here to PerthNow’s report; it is not an independent verification of the original Instagram Story. Read PerthNow’s report.
Which Judd children were involved?
In its 14 April 2024 report, PerthNow identified Darcy, then eight, and Billie, then 10, as the children making their debut. The story said Bec and Chris Judd have four children, naming Darcy’s twin Tom and their 12-year-old Oscar as the other two. Those ages reflect the report’s publication context, not their ages today.
What the report does—and does not—establish
The update is about a reported debut, not a confirmed long-term hobby. PerthNow did not name a club or competition, specify the football gear, or report whether Darcy or Billie continued playing. Chris Judd’s former AFL career with West Coast and Carlton is family context; it does not identify the children’s team or club.

PerthNow also attributed a separate comment about Billie to Bec Judd, saying in an interview with Stellar: “Out of all of the kids, she’s probably the most naturally physically aggressive.” The report is the source for that wording; the original interview is not independently verified here. The comment does not establish how Billie plays football.
