Jessica Biel, Sam Richardson, Teyonah Parris and Arturo Castro also star. Apple describes the film as an Apple Original Film from Skydance Media and Mattel Films, inspired by Mattel’s Matchbox toys. That toy connection is part of the premise’s appeal, rather than a claim that a film-and-toy bundle is being offered. Apple’s 2026 slate announcement lists its Apple TV premiere for October 9.
2. Being Heumann — theaters November 6, Apple TV November 13
For viewers drawn to history and activism, Siân Heder’s Being Heumann centers on disability-rights leader Judy Heumann and a coalition of young adults challenging discrimination. The story includes the 1977 occupation of a federal building, a pivotal event in the fight for disability rights.
