These are different kinds of relationships—not a confirmed, complete roster of the people Kelce considers closest to him. The profiles documenting them appeared mainly in 2023 and 2024, so they establish what was reported then, not necessarily everyone’s current role.
What “inner circle” means in this coverage
Entertainment and sports profiles use “inner circle” as shorthand for people connected to Kelce through friendship, family, football or work. None of the cited profiles presents a verified membership list or ranks these people by closeness. The clearest account is therefore person by person: what a source reports, and what kind of connection it describes.
Aric Jones: a childhood friend and former roommate
Vanity Fair describes Jones as one of Kelce’s childhood friends from Cleveland Heights. It reports that in 2014 Kelce invited Jones to move in with him in Kansas City while Jones was finishing school. Jones recalled hesitating because he did not want to burden his friend; Kelce sent him a picture of a bedroom and wrote, “Here’s your room. It’s waiting for you.” Vanity Fair’s 2023 profile recounts the invitation.
Us Weekly’s 2024 overview also calls Jones a childhood friend and former roommate, and reports that he worked as a Chiefs ticket sales representative. That is a detail about his reported work at the time of that coverage, not confirmation of a current Chiefs position. A 2024 South China Morning Post feature associates Jones with the streetwear label Homebred Legends; it does not establish the brand’s current status or the availability of particular products.

Kumar Ferguson: childhood friend who became his personal chef
Vanity Fair reports that Ferguson and Kelce grew up in Cleveland Heights and that Ferguson became Kelce’s personal chef in 2016. The profile says Ferguson had been working as a truck driver when Kelce called to say he wanted to take his diet seriously. Ferguson recalled Kelce saying, “Hey man, I want to take my diet seriously, and take it to the next level,” and described their day-to-day rapport: “We kick it all day.” The account makes their connection both personal and professional; it does not turn the other relationships in this list into friendships of the same kind.
Patrick Regan, known as “Patty Cuts”: Kelce’s barber
Us Weekly identifies Patrick Regan, who uses the nickname “Patty Cuts,” as Kelce’s barber. Its article recounts a social post attributed to Regan about sending Kelce to training camp with an Andy Reid-style mustache. The South China Morning Post reports that Regan traveled to Kansas City to cut Kelce’s hair. Those reports document a barber-client relationship and the coverage around it; they do not establish the full nature of their personal relationship or provide a basis to call Regan a close friend.

Family and football: Jason Kelce and Patrick Mahomes
Jason Kelce is Travis’s brother. Patrick Mahomes is his Kansas City Chiefs teammate and friend. Us Weekly’s 2024 overview also includes Mahomes’s wife, Brittany, among the people close to Travis, and reports on the closeness between the families. The article describes these connections as family and teammate ties, distinct from the childhood histories reported for Jones and Ferguson.
Aaron and André Eanes: business managers, not a friendship category
The Irish Times describes Aaron and André Eanes as Kelce’s business managers through A&A Management and recounts how he became an early client. Their role helps explain the professional team around a high-profile athlete, but management is not evidence of friendship. The Irish Times’ January 2024 profile covers their work with Kelce.
