What has Waterhouse said about becoming a parent?
In a 2026 interview with the Associated Press, Waterhouse discussed the tension she feels between pursuing creative work and being present for her daughter. She said, “A revelation I’ve had for myself recently is that there is inherently a friction there, that I think has been really deepened by becoming a parent.” She also called her daughter “this beautiful gift that’s been given to me” while talking about wanting to be present in her life. These are Waterhouse’s reflections on her own experience, not statements attributed to Pattinson.
A July 2024 Good Morning America report said Waterhouse described listening to a rap playlist and receiving support from Pattinson during pregnancy and birth.
