Isaiah sang on a Christmas recording
ABC News reported that Isaiah accompanied Underwood on tour as a young child and sang with her on her rendition of “Little Drummer Boy.” The report described it as his singing debut at age five; it does not establish that he has pursued a professional music career. ABC refers to the Christmas album as Gift, while Biography.com identifies Underwood’s 2020 Christmas album as My Gift.
A family Christmas-tree tradition
In a 2020 interview reported by Good Morning America, Underwood described putting the boys’ school crafts and photos on the family Christmas tree. She said she ordered photo ornaments so Jacob would be represented alongside Isaiah’s school projects. “I want them to see their pictures from when they were little or that thing they made in kindergarten hanging on the tree. It won’t be Pinterest-worthy, but it’s definitely got a lot of heart,” she said.

ABC News, reporting on a 2017 People interview, said Underwood spoke about making time for family, including vacations, and described morning cuddles as a way she felt connected to her children. ABC also reported that she said the family prays before meals. These are a few comments and anecdotes she has shared publicly, not a comprehensive picture of the family’s day-to-day life.
In a birthday message for Jacob reported by ABC News, Underwood described him as “silly and strong” and said he liked to play, sing, and follow his older brother.
