Is Alice in Borderland season 4 confirmed?
No. As of October 4, 2026, Netflix had not confirmed a fourth season or announced its release date, cast, or story in the official sources available. What does the season 3 ending mean for season 4?
Spoilers for the season 3 finale: Arisu and Usagi return to the real world, closing their immediate journey through Borderland. In the final scene, the story shifts to the United States, where a waitress wears a name tag reading “Alice.”

The image suggests the games could reach beyond Japan and gives viewers a reason to wonder about a continuation. Netflix’s explainer presents it as an implication, not confirmation: the scene does not announce a season 4 order, explain a new plot, or establish that the waitress will be a central character.
What is known about a season 4 story?
Nothing has been officially announced about season 4’s story. The Joker card and the return to Borderland were part of season 3’s promotion, not a confirmed outline for another season.
For context, Netflix described season 3 as a story in which Usagi is taken back to Borderland and Arisu follows her. That is the premise of the season that has already aired, not evidence of what a fourth season would cover. The live-action series is based on Haro Aso’s manga, published by Shogakukan, but the manga’s existence does not confirm a season 4 adaptation or storyline.
Has the season 4 cast been announced?
No season 4 cast has been announced. Netflix’s published cast information concerns seasons 1–3, so those performers should not be presented as confirmed for a future season.

For season 3, Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya returned as Arisu and Usagi. Netflix also listed returning performers Hayato Isomura, Ayaka Miyoshi, and Katsuya Maiguma. New season 3 cast members included Kento Kaku, Koji Ohkura, Risa Sudou, Hiroyuki Ikeuchi, Tina Tamashiro, Kotaro Daigo, Hyunri, and Sakura Kiryu.
Netflix Tudum’s season 3 cast guide identifies the returning characters as Arisu, Usagi, Banda, Ann, Yaba, and Kuina, and lists newcomers Ryuji, Tetsu, Sachiko, Nobu, Kazuya, Rei, Shion, Natsu, and the Watchman. Those names describe season 3’s ensemble, not a season 4 lineup.

Netflix announced that Alice in Borderland season 3 would premiere worldwide on September 25, 2025. Netflix describes the series as an adaptation of Haro Aso’s manga and frames its central premise around gamer Arisu and his friends entering an alternate dimension where survival depends on clearing brutal games.
Season 3 publicity highlighted the Joker as the remaining card and promoted a return to the games. In an official Netflix trailer announcement, Yamazaki said he found it interesting that Arisu and Usagi were split into separate teams, creating different group dynamics. That comment concerns season 3, not a season 4 production.
