A Hue of Blu is a contemporary, new adult romance by Marie-France Leger about Blu Henderson and Jace Boland, whose intense relationship brings them face to face with trauma, loss and self-worth. Here’s what the publisher says about the story, its content notes and the editions available in different markets.
What is A Hue of Blu about?
The novel follows Blu Henderson, described by the publisher as bold and charismatic, and Jace Boland, who is quiet and introverted. Their relationship draws both characters into painful parts of their past, including trauma and loss. The publisher presents the story as one about love, pain and learning to love yourself; that framing is promotional copy rather than an independent critical assessment.

The publisher’s book description poses the question, “How much pain are you willing to endure for someone you love?” It signals the intense emotional territory of the romance, but does not establish a reader consensus or guarantee how the story resolves.

These are the publisher’s stated notes; they are not an exhaustive account of every potentially difficult scene.

Which editions are listed?
Publication dates and page counts differ by edition and market. The publisher listings identify paperback and ebook formats in Australia and a paperback listing in the UK. Bibliographic records also include an earlier self-published edition and a later Little, Brown Book Group edition.

Prices, dates and page counts above refer to the named listing or catalog record, not to every version of the book. Retail availability and prices can change, so confirm the market and ISBN on the seller’s current product page before ordering. Hachette Australia’s listing names Amazon for the paperback and Amazon Kindle for the ebook. The available publisher and bibliographic records do not substantiate an audiobook edition.

What is known about sales?
Little, Brown Book Group’s Autumn 2024 rights catalog claimed 20,000 copies sold. The catalog does not specify territory or methodology, so this should be treated as that publisher catalog’s claim, not as an independently verified or current worldwide sales total.
