Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is the next continuation officially announced, but it is a theatrical film—not Season 3—and its announcement gave no release date. A 2027–2028 window for Season 3 has been reported from rights holder D&C Media’s investor material, but the anime production committee has not publicly confirmed that schedule. So there is a projected window, not a confirmed Season 3 premiere date.
Is Solo Leveling Season 3 confirmed?
There is a reported plan for a third season, but the status matters. Anime2You and ComicBook.com say D&C Media’s investor presentation projects Season 3 for 2027–2028. Anime2You notes that this is an investor forecast, which may change, and that the anime production committee had not publicly confirmed it. Treat the window as a reported expectation from the rights holder’s investor material, not as an officially announced release schedule from the anime’s production team. Anime2You’s report and ComicBook.com’s report both cover the forecast.
What is Beyond the System—and is it Season 3?
No. The official Japanese anime site announced Solo Leveling: Beyond the System on July 4, 2026, describing it as a theatrical continuation of Solo Leveling Season 2: Arise from the Shadow. It is a film, not a numbered TV season. The announcement confirms that the film is in production but gives no release date. Read the official announcement.
That leaves two distinct developments: a film with an official production announcement but no date in the notice, and a third season with a reported 2027–2028 forecast but no public production-team confirmation of that window.

What have Crunchyroll and the producer said?
GamesRadar reported that Crunchyroll president Rahul Purini said: “Nothing to announce, but we are just as eager as the fans for the next show!” He added: “We know the creators are actively working on it, so hopefully we can announce something soon.” His comments support that creators are working on a continuation; they do not confirm a Season 3 schedule or promise when an announcement will arrive. GamesRadar’s report has the remarks.
ComicBook.com also reported comments from producer Atsushi Kaneko at Mumbai Comic-Con 2026. Speaking through a translator, Kaneko said there were many plans, that he could not say much, and that he was working hard on it. That is a qualified statement about ongoing work, not a release-date announcement.
When will Solo Leveling Season 3 come out?
No confirmed premiere date is available in the cited announcements and reporting. The only specific window in the reports is 2027–2028, attributed to D&C Media’s investor presentation. Until the anime production committee or official anime channels confirm a schedule, that window should be read as a forecast rather than a firm date.
