How did Liz meet Jayson?
Liz told TV Insider they met at an eight-mile run and described them as active together. She said she began dating him in October, after she and Ed separated. In her account, she had expected to get married in August, but the planned wedding did not happen and the relationship with Jayson followed the breakup.
Liz also described Jayson as supportive and said he encouraged her to seek closure at the Tell All. Those are Liz’s own descriptions of the relationship, not independent assessments. Is Liz still with Jayson?
Jayson is the boyfriend associated with Liz’s 2024 public introduction; the available reports do not establish that they are still together. Later coverage describes a different relationship timeline. On May 18, 2026, TLC announced that Liz and Alec were engaged. The network said Liz introduced Alec to the other singles during the Tell All and quoted her saying, “After all the laughs, adventures, late nights, and memories together, we finally get forever!
