90 Day Fiancé coverage describes “Paradise Men” as a WhatsApp group administered by Michael Ilesanmi, who reportedly said it was for sharing information about the visa process. Angela Deem’s suspicion is part of the television storyline, but the available reporting does not establish that the group committed fraud or that Michael scammed her.
What is Michael Ilesanmi’s Paradise Men Visa Group?
Entertainment coverage describes Paradise Men as a WhatsApp group, with Michael as its administrator. The reports recount a dispute shown on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? after Angela saw the group while looking through his phone. The coverage is an account of the program and the participants’ claims, not independent documentation of the group’s membership or activities. ScreenRant coverage via IMDb, June 10, 2024.

What did Michael say the group was for?
Reports attribute two explanations to Michael: that he was seeking information to help people with the visa process, and that “Paradise” referred to the United States. One entertainment report relayed his on-camera explanation: “The reason why it’s called the The Paradise Men Group is because, you know, you are going to the U.S. Land of free, you know? Like, the U.S. is a paradise. That’s all.” Entertainment Tonight coverage via Yahoo, June 2024.
That explanation is Michael’s reported account, not independent confirmation of the group’s purpose. Reporting also describes an argument involving personal information and immigration documents; the available accounts do not establish an official finding that anyone’s data was exposed.

Why was Angela Deem worried?
Angela reportedly interpreted the group as suspicious and feared it could be connected to a scam. Her concern is presented in coverage of the show’s relationship and visa storyline. It should be understood as her allegation or interpretation, not as a proven conclusion. Us Weekly coverage via Yahoo, June 10, 2024.
Did Michael scam Angela?
The reporting available here does not prove that Michael scammed Angela, that Paradise Men arranged fraudulent marriages, or that authorities investigated or made a finding about the group. It also does not establish the group’s full membership or actual off-screen conduct. Those distinctions matter: a suspicion shown on television is not the same as independently corroborated evidence or an official determination.

What should people know about immigration help?
The story’s allegations are separate from general immigration-safety advice. USCIS says immigration legal advice may be provided by an attorney admitted to practice in the United States or an accredited representative working for a DOJ-recognized organization. It also warns people about government impersonators, unofficial websites, and improper payment requests. This guidance is general and says nothing about Paradise Men. USCIS, “USCIS Publishes Filing Guide for Keeping Families Together,” last reviewed August 16, 2024.
A USCIS administrative decision dated January 24, 2025, discusses the evidence standard in a particular K-1 visa petition case, including that a reasonable inference alone was insufficient to preclude approval in that case. It is not a decision about Michael, Angela, or their group, and it is not individualized legal advice. USCIS Administrative Appeals Office decision, January 24, 2025.
