The available reporting does not confirm whether the operation took place or establish her current medical status.
What Liz Woods said in February 2026
On February 6, 2026, Us Weekly reported that Woods shared an update on Instagram saying doctors had found another cancerous mass on her ovaries. The outlet reproduced her statement: “It’s [heartbreaking] to announce the [doctors] found another cancerous mass on my ovaries and I’m taking this time to be alone with the ones closest to me.”
Woods also wrote, “The next step is a hysterectomy,” according to the same report. This describes the next step she said was planned at the time; the reviewed coverage does not say that the surgery happened or report its outcome.
How her reported updates fit together
Woods’s public comments have used different descriptions at different times. The reporting below records what she or an outlet said on each occasion; it does not establish a complete clinical timeline or explain whether the stomach and ovarian references describe one disease process.
#1 Best Overall
| Date | Reported statement | What it establishes |
|---|---|---|
| May 2025 | Woods said she had cancer in her stomach, in an Instagram Story quoted by Showbiz Cheat Sheet. | Her reported description at that time; it does not establish a diagnosis beyond what she said publicly. |
| June 2025 | Responding to claims that the cancer had spread throughout her body, Woods wrote, “This isn’t true,” and later clarified, “To clarify yes I am sick it just has not spread,” as quoted by Showbiz Cheat Sheet. | A denial of that spread claim in 2025, not a statement of her status in 2026. |
| December 2025 | Us Weekly reported that Woods had referred to entering remission in a message. The outlet also reported that she said she had undergone 14 rounds of chemotherapy in a December 2024 response. See Us Weekly. | A remission reference as reported by the publication; the full medical sequence is not explained. |
| February 2026 | Woods said doctors found another cancerous mass on her ovaries and that hysterectomy was the next step, according to Us Weekly. | A reported update and stated plan, not confirmation that surgery occurred. |
| March 2026 | In a preview for 90 Day: The Single Life, Woods said she learned she had ovarian cancer about a year earlier, when she miscarried, according to Us Weekly. | Her retrospective account in an episode preview, not an independent medical confirmation. |
What the March 2026 episode preview adds
In the preview, Woods described learning of ovarian cancer around the time she miscarried. Us Weekly quoted her saying: “It’s about a year ago I found out that I had ovarian cancer when I miscarried a baby, which also makes my past really hard because that’s how I thought I was going to, like, build a relationship with.” The statement adds her personal account of when she learned about the ovarian cancer; it does not resolve how that account relates medically to her earlier reference to cancer in her stomach.
