The list is a seven-title editorial selection, not the full U.S. Netflix calendar; What’s on Netflix’s broader schedule reports more than 60 arrivals during the week. The selection and release dates below are from Tom’s Guide’s weekly guide.
Live viewing: wrestling and a talent-show reboot
Jan. 26: WWE Monday Night Raw
The weekly Netflix live event returns to North America with a Toronto card. The featured stakes include a challenge for the Usos’ World Tag Team Championship. Because this is live programming, it is the week’s clearest pick for viewers who want to watch at a scheduled time rather than start a title whenever they like. Tom’s Guide’s Raw listing has the event details.
Jan. 27–28: Star Search
The reboot airs live across Tuesday and Wednesday, hosted by Anthony Anderson. Jelly Roll, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Chrissy Teigen are the judges. Its live format makes it a natural choice for viewers who like to follow a competition as it unfolds rather than catch up later. The dates and lineup are listed in Tom’s Guide’s weekly schedule.

A one-sitting comedy special
Jan. 27: Mike Epps: Delusional
Mike Epps’s fifth Netflix stand-up special takes on breakups, fame, and the confidence to be wrong. It is the week’s straightforward pick for a short, self-contained comedy watch, rather than a series to keep up with or a live event to schedule around. Tom’s Guide’s special listing describes the set.
The week’s major scripted return
Jan. 29: Bridgerton season 4, part 1
The first four episodes of the eight-episode season turn the romance toward Benedict Bridgerton (Luke Thompson), who encounters the mysterious Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha), at his mother’s masquerade ball. This installment is the week’s biggest multi-episode scripted release; it offers more of a binge than the live broadcasts or single-title films do.

Glitter & Gold: Ice Dancing
This three-part sports docuseries follows ice dancing, one of the Olympic Games’ most artistically demanding events, and introduces U.S. partners Madison Chock and Evan Bates as they pursue Olympic gold at Milan. It is the documentary choice among the seven, with an athlete-and-sport focus rather than a fictional plot. Netflix’s Tudum overview provides the series framing and details.

The American President
Aaron Sorkin’s romantic comedy-drama stars Michael Douglas as widowed President Andrew Shepherd and Annette Bening as environmental lobbyist Sydney Ellen Wade. Their relationship develops alongside the pressures of public office, making this a fit for viewers who want romance mixed with political conflict. It is a Feb. 1 catalog arrival in this schedule, not a new film release. See Tom’s Guide’s weekly listing.
Ex Machina
This science-fiction film follows programmer Caleb, who is brought to CEO Nathan Bateman’s retreat to test a humanoid AI robot. Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac, and Alicia Vikander lead the principal cast. It is the week’s most speculative feature-length option and another Feb. 1 catalog addition. The synopsis appears in What’s on Netflix’s title listing.
