A separate article argues that the series gives limited attention to seven other subjects. That list is an editorial judgment—not a verified or exhaustive inventory of everything the documentary omits.
What the documentary covers—and what “left out” means
Netflix describes the four-part series as directed by Alexandria Stapleton and executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson. Its episode summaries range across Combs’s career and Bad Boy, music-industry rivalries, allegations, the federal investigation, his 2024 arrest, and trial. Netflix’s summaries are not full transcripts, so they cannot establish whether a particular detail appears briefly or not at all. Netflix Tudum’s series guide and the official Netflix title page describe the series and its availability.

The seven subjects below are the list attributed to the source article, not an independently checked account of every episode. “Left out” should therefore be read as “the source article says the series leaves out or does not explore this in enough depth.”
Seven subjects the source article says receive too little attention
-
Alleged sexual events beyond those involving Cassie Ventura
The source article argues that the series could have examined alleged sexual events involving people other than Ventura in greater depth. These are allegations, not established facts merely because they are discussed in a documentary or article. The available episode summaries do not settle how much individual accounts appear in the series.

Kim Porter’s death
The source article includes Porter’s death among the subjects it says the series does not sufficiently explore. Discussion of her death has attracted conspiracy theories, but the material cited here does not provide authoritative evidence for those theories. They should not be presented as credible explanations or as established facts.
-
Combs’s white parties
The article also points to Combs’s white parties as a subject it believes deserved more attention. Naming the parties does not establish wrongdoing by Combs or by anyone who attended; claims about particular conduct require evidence specific to those claims.

-
Ventura’s testimony at trial
Ventura’s trial testimony is another item on the list. The source article argues for more attention to what she said in court, but the list alone does not show whether the documentary includes some reference to her testimony or how it handles it.
-
Kid Cudi’s allegations about an attack on his car
The source article identifies Kid Cudi’s allegations concerning an alleged attack on his car as a detail it says the series leaves out or underexplores. This is an allegation; it should not be recast as a proven event on the strength of the list.

-
Combs’s life in prison
The article names Combs’s incarceration as another subject that could have received more attention. This is distinct from the documentary’s coverage of the investigation, arrest, and trial: the series’ official summaries do not promise a detailed account of prison life.
-
The long-running feud between Combs and executive producer 50 Cent
Finally, the article points to the long-running feud between Combs and 50 Cent, who executive produced the documentary. The feud is relevant context for viewers considering the project’s perspective, but it does not by itself prove that the series’ claims are false or that its editorial choices were driven by the dispute.
Rank #4
Keep allegations, verdicts, and claims about footage separate
The distinction matters because the documentary concerns both allegations and criminal proceedings. A federal indictment is a charging document: its claims are prosecutors’ allegations, not findings that each alleged act occurred. Netflix’s current account says Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation for purposes of prostitution and is appealing his conviction and sentence. The Washington Post reported that jurors interviewed in the documentary stood by their acquittals on sex-trafficking and racketeering-conspiracy charges. Those acquittals and the two convictions are distinct outcomes; neither makes every allegation in the indictment a proven fact. The U.S. Attorney’s Office indictment announcement describes the charges, while The Washington Post’s reporting on the documentary addresses jurors’ comments.
There is also a dispute over footage used in the series. Director Alexandria Stapleton told Netflix Tudum, “It came to us, we obtained the footage legally and have the necessary rights.” Netflix said it repeatedly contacted Combs’s legal team for an interview and comment but did not hear back. The Washington Post reported that a representative for Combs called the footage unauthorized and stolen; Netflix said it was legally obtained. These are competing accounts, not a final legal ruling on the footage’s provenance or authorization. Stapleton’s interview with Netflix Tudum and The Washington Post’s report attribute the positions to the parties.

How to use the seven-item list
The list is useful as a prompt for questions about scope and perspective, not as proof that the series omitted every subject entirely. Netflix’s official episode descriptions confirm broad coverage of Combs’s career, allegations, investigation, arrest, and trial, but do not provide scene-by-scene detail. The safest conclusion is that the source article believes these seven subjects deserved more attention; the available summaries cannot independently confirm the completeness of its list.
