When Olympic coverage ends, Peacock has options beyond sports: a reality competition built on deception, a traveling mystery, musical comedy, sci-fi comedy, and a continuing drama. These five picks are grouped by the kind of watch you want—not ranked as the five best shows—and Peacock’s catalog can change, including which seasons are available.
Pick the kind of show you want next
| Show | Best fit | Story format | Tone |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Traitors | Social strategy and competition | Reality competition | High-stakes and suspenseful |
| Poker Face | A mystery you can watch episode by episode | Mostly self-contained cases | Crime mystery |
| Girls5eva | Musical comedy and an underdog reunion | Scripted comedy | Playful |
| Resident Alien | Fish-out-of-water humor with a sci-fi premise | Scripted genre comedy | Comic, with a continuing premise |
| Bel-Air | A continuing dramatic story | Serialized drama | Drama |
The Traitors: competition driven by bluffing
If what you miss about the Olympics is watching people compete under pressure, try The Traitors. At a Scottish castle, players known as Faithful try to expose hidden Traitors while alliances and suspicion shape the game. It suits viewers who enjoy reading strategy and social dynamics as much as the competition itself.
Peacock/NBCUniversal calls it “a nail-biting psychological adventure in which treachery and deceit are the name of the game.” NBCUniversal reported 8.1 billion minutes viewed for the show from its January 8, 2026 premiere through September 6, 2026, citing Peacock first-party data and Nielsen, and said viewing was up 72% over the prior season. Those figures indicate substantial viewing, not a guarantee that the format will suit everyone.
Poker Face: a fresh case each episode
Poker Face is a fit for viewers who want mystery without committing to one sprawling puzzle. Natasha Lyonne plays Charlie Cale, a woman who can tell when people are lying and investigates cases as she travels. The case-of-the-week structure gives episodes a self-contained mystery, making it an easier entry point if you prefer episodic storytelling to a long serialized plot.

Girls5eva: a comeback with songs and jokes
In Girls5eva, a 1990s girl group reunites decades later for another shot at success. Sara Bareilles, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Busy Philipps, and Paula Pell star. Choose it for a comic underdog story with a musical streak, rather than a competition or mystery.
Season availability needs particular care: TV Guide’s August 2026 guide listed Seasons 1 and 2 on Peacock and the third season on Netflix. Peacock’s catalog lists the show, but that listing by itself does not establish which seasons are currently streamable there. Check the season selector on Peacock before assuming the complete run is available.

Resident Alien: a small-town comedy with an extraterrestrial twist
Alan Tudyk plays an alien disguised as a small-town doctor in Resident Alien. His plan to destroy the world gets complicated as he grows fond of some of the humans around him. The fish-out-of-water setup makes this a good choice if you want comedy shaped by a sci-fi premise; check Peacock’s live listing for current season availability rather than relying on an older season count.
Bel-Air: for a drama that keeps going
If you want a continuing story rather than a case-of-the-week episode or a comic reset, Bel-Air is the drama pick. Peacock’s catalog lists the series. Its show-page search result identifies it as a four-season drama and gives November 24, 2025, as the fourth-season premiere date; confirm the live title page for current season availability.
