What song did Cynthia Erivo perform?
Erivo performed “Sometimes All You Need Is a Song,” accompanied by Broadway Inspirational Voices. The Associated Press described the opening as beginning in Erivo’s dressing room before she made her way to the stage. AP identified the song’s writers as Marc Shaiman, Scott Wittman, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul; the CBS photo captions confirm the performance and its participants.
What did Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter present?
Reeves and Winter presented the Lead Actress in a Play award. The CBS captions identify the category, and TIME’s recap describes it as the evening’s first award. Their appearance drew attention because the actors were associated with a planned stage production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, as TIME noted in its 2025 ceremony recap. That reference describes the context at the time of the ceremony, not the production’s subsequent status. The American Theatre Wing’s presenter announcement included both actors.
