Why the counts cannot be treated as a factual ranking

A defensible ranking would need to apply the same clearly stated criteria to every person. For example, it could count only marriages and relationships publicly acknowledged by the people involved, while excluding rumors. Each entry would also need attributable reporting or a direct public statement, a date range, and a clear indication of uncertainty. The reproduced excerpt provides none of those elements, so it cannot support a reliable ranking.
