To promote music independently, start with the official tools on the platforms where you want to reach listeners, then add services for pitching or release links if they fit your goals. Spotify for Artists, YouTube for Artists, TikTok for Artists, Feature.fm and Groover each serve a different purpose; none guarantees streams, playlist placement or career growth.
The title promises 11 sites, but the currently verified options here do not support an honest eleven-entry list or a defensible ranking. Rather than pad it with unverified services, this guide explains the five options with established features and how to choose among them.
How to choose a music promotion site
Choose based on the task you need to complete, not a claim that one service is universally “best.” Consider who you want to reach, whether the platform is available to you, what it costs, what you can measure, and whether it helps you build a direct relationship with fans.
- Build a platform presence: use that platform’s official artist tools.
- Pitch a song: submit it to relevant curators, radio or labels, understanding that consideration is not guaranteed coverage.
- Give fans one release destination: use a smart link or pre-save page.
- Measure results: check what analytics are provided and what they actually measure.
The official sources below describe features, not comparative performance. They do not establish which service produces the most listeners.

An Official Artist Channel has eligibility requirements: an artist-owned channel focused on that artist’s music, at least one official release delivered by a distributor or label, compliance with YouTube policies, and one of several additional partner or program conditions. Ask your distributor or label to check eligibility. YouTube also describes Promote and Google Ads campaign setup; those are paid advertising tools with selectable budget and targeting, not a promise of organic reach or results. See YouTube’s artist resources for details.

5. Groover: submit music to curators, radio and labels
Groover connects artists submitting music for promotion with curators, radio and labels. It is a submission channel, not a guarantee that a recipient will cover a song, add it to a playlist or help grow an audience. Groover says top-tier curators may cost more credits, so review current credit costs and the recipient’s fit before paying.

- Prepare your platform presence. Customize your Spotify profile and review the artist resources for YouTube or TikTok if those are part of your audience strategy.
- Check access before planning around a feature. Confirm YouTube channel eligibility and TikTok availability in your country; check current plan terms for paid services.
- Choose one clear release destination. If listeners need a single place to find the track or pre-save it, consider a link service such as Feature.fm and verify its current supported services.
- Pitch selectively. If using Groover, choose recipients whose audience and remit fit the track. Treat any fee or credit purchase as payment to submit, not payment for a placement.
- Review the signals each tool provides. Use platform analytics and link data to understand activity, but do not treat views, clicks or dashboard measures as proof of lasting fan growth.
What these sites can—and cannot—tell you
Official artist tools can help you manage a profile, prepare a release and inspect platform-specific activity. A link service can centralize destinations and provide link analytics. A pitching service can put music in front of selected recipients. These are distinct jobs, so compare services by workflow, audience fit, geographic access, cost and the data they expose rather than treating them as interchangeable.
SoundCloud’s help pages document partner offers or workflows involving Feature.fm and Groover, including offers associated with Artist Pro. They do not establish a complete current list of SoundCloud promotion features or universal terms for those offers. Check SoundCloud’s Feature.FM help page and Groover help page for current eligibility and details.
