Here are 10 standout commercials from Super Bowl LIX, ranked by the clarity and originality of their ideas, how naturally the creative fits the brand, and the strength of the execution and payoff. This is an editorial ranking, not a measured consensus: critics, business-objective awards, and YouTube engagement lists evaluate different things.
How this ranking works
The order below reflects four editorial questions: Is the central idea easy to grasp and distinctive? Does the execution belong to the advertised brand? Is the spot memorable, funny, or emotionally effective? Where available, does independent audience-response evidence add useful context? The first three are judgments; audience figures and awards are attributed to the organizations that published them.
There is no single authoritative ranking of Super Bowl LIX ads. Ipsos selected winners across separate business objectives, while YouTube ordered its AdBlitz list using platform engagement. CBS Sports published a critic’s subjective list. Those are useful cross-checks, not interchangeable scorecards.
The 10 best Super Bowl 2025 commercials
-
“First Delivery” — Budweiser
A Clydesdale foal makes its first delivery, giving Budweiser a simple, instantly legible story built around one of the brand’s best-known assets. The premise connects the product and the horse without needing a celebrity or an elaborate joke; its emotional payoff comes from watching the young horse earn its place.

-
“So Win” — Nike
Nike’s spot turns athletic ambition into a collective statement about women in sports. Its direct, assertive tone gives the message more force than a conventional montage, and the subject is a close fit for a brand whose advertising often centers on competition and achievement.
Ipsos selected “So Win” for Brand Purpose. YouTube also included Nike among its AdBlitz top ten, a separate platform-engagement ranking.
-
“When Sally Met Hellmann’s” — Hellmann’s
The ad revisits When Harry Met Sally with Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal, then makes the familiar restaurant scene about a sandwich and Hellmann’s mayonnaise. The reference supplies a ready-made comedic structure, while the product is part of the payoff rather than a last-minute logo appearance.

-
“Dream Job” — Google
Google’s spot links AI to a recognizably human moment: preparing for a job interview. That practical frame makes the technology easier to understand than an abstract display of features, and puts the focus on a person using a tool rather than on the tool alone.
Rank #2

Ipsos named “Dream Job” its AI+HI Hero, a category for the combination of artificial intelligence and human insight. Google also appeared in YouTube’s AdBlitz top ten.
-
“Call of the Mustaches” — Pringles
Pringles turns its mustache-shaped snack into the joke: people summon mustaches to help reach the chips. The visual premise is brand-specific and immediately readable, which gives the ad a stronger connection to the product than a celebrity cameo would provide on its own.

-
“Kiss From a Lime” — Mountain Dew
This ad gives Mountain Dew a playful musical hook by reworking the idea of a “kiss” around lime. Its bright, broad approach is designed to be easy to catch in a crowded game-day broadcast, and the product flavor is central to the wordplay.
Ipsos recognized it as Second-Screen Sensation. That award is one of several distinct categories, not evidence that it placed at a particular position in a universal top ten.
-
“Your Attention, Please” — Novartis
Novartis takes a less expected route for a pharmaceutical advertiser, using a deliberately attention-grabbing approach to make its message stand out. The contrast between a serious health-related brand and a bold presentation gives the spot its identity.

“Whatever Comes Your Way” — WeatherTech
WeatherTech’s ad leans into the brand’s practical, preparedness-oriented identity. Its appeal is less about a twist than about a clear connection between what the company sells and the promise its name suggests: being ready for what happens next.
Ipsos awarded it “Understood the Assignment,” one of its objective-specific honors.
-
“Whoa!” — Little Caesars
Little Caesars builds its spot around a compact reaction and a direct food-focused joke. The easy-to-repeat hook suits the brand’s accessible, casual tone, and the product remains central to the gag.

CBS Sports’ February 10 critic list also included “Whoa!” at number 10, an independent critical placement rather than an audience-performance score. iSpot’s Super Bowl LIX report page says clear calls to action helped Little Caesars and Uber Eats exceed purchase-intent norms by up to +15%; the page’s visible passage does not define the comparison baseline, so that figure should not be read as percentage points or as a universal measure of ad quality.

“Kiss from a Lime” aside: Totino’s with Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson
Totino’s spot earns a place for taking the form of an odd, sketch-like comic exchange rather than a standard celebrity endorsement. Tim Robinson and Sam Richardson’s offbeat delivery makes the execution distinctive, while the food gives the absurdity a recognizable center.

CBS Sports specifically called out the ad’s sketch-like use of the two performers. This is a critic’s observation, not a measured audience ranking.
What other rankings tell you
Ipsos: awards by advertising objective
Ipsos’s February 10, 2025 release named winners in ten categories tied to different goals, such as brand purpose, nostalgia, social conversation, and the use of AI with human insight. Because these categories answer different questions, they are not an ordered top ten. The release also named an unaired Doritos “Barbershop” as “Didn’t Make the Cut.”
In its post-game FastFacts study of 1,000 U.S. adults aged 18–65 on Ipsos.Digital, 17% said the ads offered less diversity than in the previous year, while one in three found the ads more humorous than the previous year. Ipsos also tracked 4.9 million Super Bowl-related social mentions using its Synthesio consumer-intelligence platform. Separately, its Creative|Spark ad testing used a sample of 150 U.S. adults aged 18–65 per ad. These are distinct measures and samples, not one shared poll of the “best” commercial.
Pedr Howard, Head of Ipsos Creative Excellence U.S., described the year as “a triumph for creativity.” That is Ipsos’s assessment of the advertising overall, not a verdict naming one spot the best.
YouTube AdBlitz: engagement on YouTube
YouTube’s February 19, 2025 AdBlitz list ordered ads using views, engagement, likes, and shares, with data through February 13 at 12 AM ET. Jeep topped the chart; the top ten also included Marvel Studios, Google, Universal Studios, Disney, Michelob ULTRA, Bud Light, Netflix, Nike, and Stella Artois. YouTube noted that Universal Studios and Netflix made the list without airing on television during the game. It is therefore a platform-performance ranking, not a list limited to in-game television spots.
iSpot: humor and purchase intent
iSpot’s Super Bowl LIX report page says 71% of ads generated humor. It also says clear calls to action helped Little Caesars and Uber Eats exceed purchase-intent norms by up to +15%. Those are iSpot’s report-page claims; they describe humor and a stated purchase-intent comparison, not an overall quality ranking.

Why the rankings differ
- A critic’s list judges creative choices and execution; it does not measure how many viewers watched, liked, or shared an ad.
- Ipsos’s category awards recognize achievement against distinct business objectives, so winners in different categories are not directly ordered against one another.
- YouTube AdBlitz reflects engagement on YouTube through a stated cutoff, and includes ads that did not air on television during the game.
- Purchase-intent and survey findings depend on their methods and comparison baselines. They can add context, but do not settle which commercial is funniest, most memorable, or best made.
