Baywatch turned a veteran lifeguard and his colleagues into familiar faces around the world. Here’s what ten prominent cast members did after their time on the show, with older credits kept distinct from present-day activity.
How Baywatch became a hit
Baywatch debuted on NBC in 1989, then found a much larger audience in syndication. It ran for 11 seasons, with its series finale airing on May 14, 2001; three direct-to-video films followed. Biography.com and Us Weekly recount the series’ history. The cast below is a selection of prominent performers, not a definitive ranking.
Where are ten former Baywatch stars now?
David Hasselhoff — Mitch Buchannon
Hasselhoff played the experienced lifeguard at the center of the series. After Baywatch, he continued working in television, film, and onstage, while also pursuing a music career and releasing more than a dozen albums, according to Biography.com. Parade also reports ongoing acting and music activity.
Pamela Anderson — C.J. Parker
Anderson’s role as lifeguard C.J. Parker helped make her a breakout star. She continued acting and became an advocate and writer. In 2023, she published her memoir, Love, Pamela, and appeared in the Netflix documentary Pamela: A Love Story, as Parade reports.

Erika Eleniak — Shauni McClain
Eleniak was among the early-season cast, playing Shauni McClain. Her Baywatch tenure is one of the series’ early cast milestones; the available retrospective does not establish a specific current project. Biography.com covers her early years on the show.
Alexandra Paul — Stephanie Holden
Paul joined the series in 1992 as Stephanie Holden. Afterward, she continued acting in film and television and also worked as an activist and health and wellness coach, according to Parade.
Nicole Eggert — Summer Quinn
Eggert played Summer Quinn in Seasons 3 and 4. Later, she made reality-television appearances and started an ice cream truck business in 2014, as Parade reports. Parade also reported in connection with its coverage that Eggert had been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer and began treatment in December 2023; that dated report is not a current health update.
Yasmine Bleeth — Caroline Holden
Bleeth played Caroline Holden and later had television and film credits. Parade notes that she returned to independent comedy in 2021 after a long period away from the spotlight. That dated work does not establish her current activities, and her private life should not be inferred from her absence from public view. (Parade)

David Chokachi — Cody Madison
Chokachi’s role as Cody Madison was his first acting job; he appeared on the show from 1995 to 1999. He went on to work in television and film. In an August 2024 interview quoted by Parade, he reflected on the series’ reach: “The global reach Baywatch had—and still has—is just mind-blowing.”
Kelly Packard — April Giminski
Packard played April Giminski on Baywatch. The cast retrospective identifies her role, but does not establish a specific current project, so her post-show update is best kept to that verified credit. (Parade)
