Jones played Jake on CBS’s Two and a Half Men. Us Weekly reported that he was cast in 2003, at age 10, and left the regular cast in 2013. He later made a guest appearance in the series finale, which aired in 2015.
College after the sitcom
After leaving the show, Jones attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, according to Us Weekly. In a 2016 People interview quoted by the outlet, he said, “Going to college was something I was really, really excited about.” He also recalled, “I wasn’t the center of everyone’s attention, and that was nice.”

His later appearance in Bookie
Jones appeared in Bookie in November 2023, according to Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight. Entertainment Tonight described a poker scene that brought him together with Charlie Sheen and several performers associated with Two and a Half Men. Chuck Lorre, discussing the return, told Entertainment Tonight: “He was not necessarily going, ‘Oh boy. I’m going to act again!’ But he was game and he was great. He was great at eight and he was great at 28.” Us Weekly also quoted Lorre saying, “[Angus] is doing great.”
