The official announcement sets up a story about Carmy, Sydney and Richie trying to raise the level of their restaurant while keeping it in business. The headline’s suggestion that Carmy is stressed over critics is not confirmed as a Jeremy Allen White quote or as a verified description of a scene in the available official material.
What the Season 3 sneak peek is about
FX’s May 9, 2024 announcement describes Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri) and Richard “Richie” Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) working to elevate their beef stand-turned-fine-dining restaurant while keeping it financially afloat. The announcement characterizes Carmy as pushing himself and demanding excellence from the crew. D23’s announcement and season synopsis provide the official context for the preview.
That setup conveys pressure around the restaurant and its standards. It does not, by itself, establish that the preview depicts Carmy worrying about critics.
Did Jeremy Allen White say Carmy is stressed about critics?
The available official announcement does not quote White discussing critics, and the retrieved promotional listings do not substantiate the headline wording as a direct quote. Treat “stresses over critics” as a characterization, not as something White is verified to have said or as a confirmed account of a particular moment in the clip.

It also listed Disney+ for the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Gibraltar, the Balkans, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines, with other territories to follow. Those are the announced 2024 release details; check the relevant service for current availability, since streaming catalogs can change.
How the other promotional clips differ
TODAY’s verified YouTube channel posted a separate “sneak peek at new trailer” item on June 13, 2024, also noting the June 27 Hulu arrival. It was a later promotional item, distinct from the May 9 FX announcement. TODAY’s June 13 listing identifies that separate trailer preview.

Neither should be confused with footage shown at Disney’s April 3, 2024 shareholder meeting. TheWrap reported that FX objected to public distribution of that earlier clip, saying it had been captured and shared without permission. That shareholder-meeting footage is separate from the later public promotional previews. TheWrap’s report covers the objection.
