Brody Jenner and Kayla Nicole both passed Selection in the Season 3 finale of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. The show did not name one winner: Cam Newton and Golden Tate failed the final test, while Alana Blanchard withdrew during interrogation.
How the five finalists finished
The finale began with five recruits: Jenner, Nicole, Newton, Tate and Blanchard. FOX’s season announcement lists the 16 celebrity recruits who entered the season; TV Insider reported that these five remained for the finale.
| Recruit | Finale outcome |
|---|---|
| Brody Jenner | Passed Selection |
| Kayla Nicole | Passed Selection |
| Cam Newton | Failed the final test |
| Golden Tate | Failed the final test |
| Alana Blanchard | Withdrew during interrogation |
TV Insider’s post-finale report and CarterMatt’s recap identify Jenner and Nicole as the two who passed. The outcome was successful completion, not a head-to-head ranking or audience-vote result.
What the final test involved
The finale put recruits through a sequence of demanding tasks: fighting the “Redman,” carrying out a field mission after an ambush, evading an enemy pursuit, reaching extraction and resisting interrogation. The final stage was a solo interrogation. FOX TV Stations previewed the challenges before the broadcast, and TV Insider described the closing test afterward.

What the passers said afterward
In a TV Insider interview, Jenner recalled learning that he had passed: “I was delusional. We hadn’t slept for what felt like 24 hours. It was a grueling experience.” The 24-hour figure was his description of how long it felt, not an independently confirmed duration.
Nicole described her reaction after interrogation in the same interview: “From my memory, I was so disoriented that when the DS announced I had passed I was emotionless, zero expression on my face because I was so physically exhausted, and frankly, traumatized from the 24 hours we had.” That is Nicole’s account of her condition and experience.
