TV Insider further reported that an officer smelled alcohol and that Dennis initially denied drinking or taking medication. At the detention center, she reportedly said she had been drinking “way earlier.” Us Weekly separately described officers noting “glossy eyes and an odor of alcohol coming from her person” and said photographs showed at least four miniature Fireball bottles, one apparently empty. Did Dennis ask the court to reconsider the sentence?
Us Weekly reported that Dennis’s attorney filed a motion seeking reconsideration on October 6, 2025. According to the outlet’s account of the filing, the motion argued that many DUI and open-container cases result in fines or minimal jail time and recounted Dennis’s claims about comments the judge allegedly made.
