What happened during the February 26 discussion?
The exchange unfolded as the cohosts debated the proposed gold card and broader border policy. TV Insider reported that Griffin objected to describing the card as “for sale” and argued that the administration was making progress on immigration. Hostin challenged the discussion’s focus on southern-border migrants and argued that it reflected unequal treatment. Those were the participants’ positions in the debate, not findings about immigration policy.

As Hostin was discussing how immigration enforcement treated the northern and southern borders, Griffin began speaking over her. Hostin responded, “But yeah, can I just finish what I was saying?” Griffin later interrupted Goldberg, who said, “Let me finish now this time,” according to TV Insider’s account of the episode.
What did Griffin say afterward?
The Daily Beast reported that Griffin acknowledged the criticism after the exchange. She said, “I know it gets heated and I don’t mean to step on people when I do that,” and added, “I’m working on interrupting.” The Daily Beast’s February 26, 2025 report describes the same debate and her response.

What the reports establish—and what they do not
Both accounts describe repeated interruptions of Hostin and Goldberg in this segment. They do not provide a complete transcript or a verified count, so the reports do not support a precise number of interruptions or a claim about Griffin’s conduct across all episodes.
Griffin is a cohost of The View, according to the show’s official biography. ABC says she joined the show in season 26, in 2022.

How this differs from an earlier interruption dispute
This February 2025 exchange is separate from a December 2022 incident involving Griffin and Ana Navarro. In that earlier discussion, Griffin complained that Navarro was interrupting her—the opposite direction of the exchange reported in 2025. Mediaite’s report covers the earlier episode.
