The 15-episode Prime Video anthology has recognizable hooks—including Pac-Man, Mega Man and Keanu Reeves in an Armored Core segment—but its appeal depends on whether each episode turns its game world into a satisfying short rather than a franchise showcase.
What is Secret Level?
Prime Video describes Secret Level as “a new adult animated anthology series featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the world’s most beloved video games.” Its season-one listing contains 15 episodes. The format brings distinct game settings together in a single series rather than following one shared story across the season. Prime Video’s series listing is the official place to check availability; the catalogue may vary by region.
Is Secret Level worth watching?
It is a more natural fit for viewers who enjoy animation and video-game worlds than for anyone expecting a tightly unified narrative. Each short offers a different setting and premise, so the collection’s consistency depends on the individual episode: whether its story has a clear shape, whether its visuals distinguish it, and whether it works for someone who has never played the game.
That unevenness is reflected in critical coverage. PC Gamer’s episode-by-episode review singles out New World as a strong entry while characterizing the collection more broadly as publisher-approved tributes to familiar and less familiar properties. That is one outlet’s assessment, not a universal verdict. GameSpot’s review likewise frames the show as a set of original takes on game franchises whose settings will be more immediately recognizable to some viewers than others.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
For a practical watch choice, start with the game worlds that interest you, then judge each short on its own storytelling rather than assuming the season builds toward a single payoff. The anthology premise makes that a sensible approach, but it does not establish that every episode is entirely independent; the listing alone cannot settle how much a particular short relies on prior context.
How does Secret Level handle Pac-Man, Mega Man and Keanu Reeves?
Pac-Man: “PAC-MAN: Circle”
Pac-Man is the setting for a named episode, “PAC-MAN: Circle,” on the Prime Video listing. Its presence is a distinct adaptation hook, not an indication that Keanu Reeves appears in the Pac-Man segment. Whether the short works for newcomers depends on what it does with the game’s identity and whether it gives its story enough shape beyond recognition and references; the available episode-level coverage does not establish a reliable scene-by-scene verdict on this installment.

Mega Man
The season listing also includes a Mega Man episode. As with Pac-Man, that confirms the featured game world, but the title alone does not tell a new viewer how much background knowledge the story assumes. Viewers unfamiliar with the game can use the short’s standalone clarity—not just its familiar imagery—as the more useful measure.
Keanu Reeves and Armored Core
Keanu Reeves is associated with the Armored Core short, not the Pac-Man or Mega Man episodes. TheWrap’s guide to the games in Secret Level identifies Reeves with that segment, and Bandai Namco Europe’s Secret Level page connects his image to the Armored Core episode. His presence is a cast hook for that short; it should not be confused with the show’s other franchise adaptations.
