The trailer for Ride introduces a 2024 crime drama with western and rodeo elements: a retired bull rider and his estranged son turn to robbery to raise money for a young family member’s cancer treatment. This is Jake Allyn’s feature film, not the separate 2023 television series also titled Ride. Well Go USA’s film page and Paramount+’s trailer listing identify the movie and its premise.
What the Ride trailer is about
Well Go USA’s official synopsis supplies the stakes behind the trailer: a retired bull rider, desperate to pay for his daughter’s cancer treatment, teams up with his estranged son and resorts to robbery before time runs out. The setup brings family conflict and financial desperation into a crime story shaped by rodeo life; it is the distributor’s synopsis, not a line of dialogue quoted from the trailer.
