After filming Love Is Blind Season 6, Chelsea Blackwell said she started therapy for the first time. In a February 2024 Instagram Q&A, she said the show helped her find a therapist and cover the fees; she described the experience as transformative for her, while offering no details about her treatment or whether it continued.
What Chelsea Blackwell said about starting therapy
Entertainment Tonight reported on February 26, 2024, that Blackwell discussed therapy in an Instagram Q&A the previous day. She said: “Absolutely. The show was very accommodating on helping me not only find a therapist but cover the fees.” She added that she had never seen a therapist before and believed people could benefit from an unbiased opinion. Entertainment Tonight’s report attributes these remarks to Blackwell.
Blackwell also reflected on what the experience meant to her: “I never thought I ‘needed’ therapy but I had a ton of inner issues I needed to debunk and my life, my mindset, my heart has completely changed.” Those are her personal reflections, not a clinical assessment of her care or a claim about what therapy will do for others.
What she later shared about therapy and meditation
In March 2024, The Standard reported remarks from an interview attributed to People. Blackwell again said she had never seen a therapist before and that she thought everyone could benefit from one. She also said she had taken up meditation and felt she was in the best place she had been. These comments describe her experience at that time; they do not establish that she remains in therapy or meditation. The Standard’s report relays the interview.

What is—and is not—known about the show’s help
Blackwell’s account supports that she said the show helped her locate a therapist and pay the fees. The reporting does not describe a formal production policy or explain how the assistance was arranged. It also does not name her therapist or provider, identify a treatment approach, or give details such as diagnoses or session count.
Netflix Tudum later included Blackwell in a Season 6 cast update, describing her personal growth and reporting that she was single at the time that page was published. That is dated context, not confirmation of her current relationship status. Netflix Tudum’s cast update provides that later account.
