Its last joke is a deadpan line about “midnight booty breath.”
What happens in the mid-credits scene?
The scene cuts to Sports Hole With Pat Daniels, a fictional news program. Host Pat Daniels reports that Frank Manatee and his Maxi Golf league have had a falling out. The broadcast then says Maxi Sports Drink has been recalled after complaints that it caused irreversible halitosis, gingivitis, and a newly named condition called “tongue rot.” Manatee appears with a bright-green tongue.
Daniels ends the segment with the scene’s punchline: “Yeah, I would run, too, if I gave half the world midnight booty breath.” The scene is a comic news update, not a new golf match. Hindustan Times’ account of the scene describes the exchange.
Is the recall real?
No. The drink, recall, and health-sounding conditions are part of the film’s fictional joke; the scene is not a real product or medical report. Its comic postscript is aimed at Manatee’s Maxi Golf storyline. The account of the scene does not establish any lasting consequences beyond the broadcast.

Is there a post-credits scene?
No separate post-credits scene is reported after the mid-credits broadcast. The scene account comes from Hindustan Times; Netflix Tudum’s Easter-egg guide does not describe this broadcast.
How does it connect to the ending?
Before the credits, the film has a fantasy sequence featuring Chubbs with the alligator that took his hand, Abe Lincoln, the “Jackass” heckler and his son, Bob Barker, Happy’s grandmother, and Mr. Larson. Virginia then appears and tells Happy, “You’re OK.” Netflix Tudum places that sequence at 1:43:40:16 in its guide to the film’s Easter eggs. The Manatee broadcast is a separate mid-credits scene, not part of that fantasy sequence.
